A nearly opaque crimson hue. The somewhat reticent nose hints at lifted cedar, dried herbs, and black berries. The rich core of fruit steps forward in the mouth, all plush and juicy. The soft, fine-grained tannins add to the velvety textural experience. Finally, an earthy note of fennel root emerges. This red has the structure to age a decade or more.
