2013 Murphy-Goode Cabernet Sauvignon, Alexander Valley

An opaque deep crimson color in the glass. Concentrated aromas of black fruits mix with scents of scorched earth and hints of tobacco, followed by a sweet wood perfume and black olive. In the mouth, medium-grained tannins are prominent, showing the youthfulness of this red. The black fruits fight with the tannins for center stage all the way through to the finish. Try with a marbled prime rib-eye quickly charred on the grill.
