Nearly opaque, with a deep pigeon-blood ruby hue. Pretty fruit aromas of blackberry, boysenberry, and black cherry lead to notes of sweet cedar, vanilla, and dried herbs. A soft entrance to the palate coats the mouth with velvety tannins. Then the juicy, sweet black fruits come forward, stimulating the salivary glands. This wine is delicious now as an aperitif sipper, but can also be enjoyed at the dinner table with red meat entrees.
