Transparent in the glass, with a light neon coral tint. First and foremost – this… is… not… white… zinfandel! Those expecting several percent of residual sugar will be sadly disappointed (the .4% sugar present is not noticeable on the palate). However, those who like fruity rosés full of buttery cooked strawberries with an earthy rhubarb finish will relish this. It screams out to be consumed with a deli sandwich, from turkey, to ham and pastrami. Heck, even lox and cream cheese on a bagel would work!
