Not every California Chardonnay aspires to be a Grand Cru white Burgundy. Some are made to be straightforward, gulpable, and priced for everyday consumption. That was the philosophy of winemaker David Ready, Jr. when he crafted this bottling, and it delivers on all counts. Showing a clear, deep straw color, forward aromas of popcorn butter and cream lead to flavors of plump, spiced peach in the mouth. Enjoy as an aperitif, or pair with lighter chicken dishes or cream-based soups.
