2013 Pedroncelli Dry Rosé of Zinfandel, Dry Creek Valley

Transparent neon pink coral hue. Focused warm aromas waft from the glass, delivering cream-tinged red cherry and strawberry fruits and tropical fruits. On the palate, dried cherry is highlighted, with a plump juiciness that begs for the next sip. Make no mistake, this is a serious, dry-styled rosé, like the best of Tavel in the Southern Rhone, only with more fruit and less dirt (you say terroir, we say potato). Perfect to pair with all manner of light picnic and luncheon fare, or enjoy as an aperitif.
