NV Paul Goerg Blanc de Blancs Brut, Champagne, France

Very light straw color, with a persistent, fine mousse. The nose shows crisp citrus and apple aromas, becoming lemony and creamy in the mouth before leading to a toast-kissed finish. A light, refreshing style well-suited for appetizers and shellfish. Normally $35, it was available at a blow-out price.
Market Price: $19.99 (June 2013)
Wine Lines rating: 89
