2011 Decoy Sauvignon Blanc, Sonoma County
Pale straw color. Tropical fruit aromas of banana and passion fruit are joined by new-mown grass, crisp citrus and green apple. Entering the palate, piquant passion fruit dominates, picking up an edge of chalkiness toward the finish. Balanced and showing a juicy mouthfeel, this solid, varietally true offering provides ample drinking pleasure. Enjoy with ceviche and a mango, papaya, and cilantro salsa.
