2011 Dry Creek Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc, Dry Creek Valley
Dry Creek Vineyard is one of the pioneers of quality Sauvignon Blanc in California. Light straw in color, the 2011 vintage is still young and evolving. With aeration, the aromas slowly unfold to show moderate banana, lemon, hay, orange blossom and pineapple. Once in the mouth, the wine turns juicy, picking up some weight and fleshiness, as well as some ripe tropical fruit flavors. It may find more focus with additional time in the bottle. Scheduled release date: October 2012.
