Deep straw color, approaching amber. Dutton Ranch is one of the most renowned sources for high-quality Chardonnay grapes in the New World. Initial aromatics of cinnamon, butter toffee, and roasted nuts lead to a rich core of sun-drenched ripe fruits. It is full and expansive in the mouth, where the fruits gain focus and reveal tangerine, honeydew, and clove-tinged fleshy, tropical fruit. There is a juicy acidity on the palate that begs for the next sip. It went well with a tropical fruit-based Asian salad, but it is a delight on its own.
