2010 Beckmen Vineyards Estate Grenache, Santa Ynez Valley
Transparent neon ruby color. Waves of aromas promise much: black pepper, briary berry, earth, light mint, blueberry, sage and dill. The wine sweetens up and softens in the mouth, rounding off the sharper aromatics. Still young, its fine, silty tannins at the end do not detract.
