This is that kind of wine – light, vaguely fruity, and very drinkable. There’s a note of leather in the nose married with tangy cheese – Pecorino Romano? Blueberries without the sweetness or acidity dominate the flavor profile. Pairing options are nearly endless due to this wine’s accessibility, though I’d recommend a dish that picks up on the wine’s aroma. Authentic Cacio e Pepe anyone?
