2008 Domaine L’Oustal Blanc Naick “10” Rouge, Minervois, France
Crushed red pepper flakes, wild hare and roasted mushrooms in the nose, with a streak of cranberry juice cocktail and dried currants. A bit young around the edges, though there is a lot of potential here. For the price, an unusual, complicated wine. Pair with light beef dishes or veal Milanese with saffron risotto.
