2010 Sonoma-Loeb ‘Envoy’ Chardonnay, Carneros

Rich, ripe and round, offering up lush papaya, orange peel, lemon curd, spice and clarified butter aromas and flavors. Though young, everything already appears well knit and seamless. As an appetizer, we enjoyed steamed King Crab legs with drawn butter, and this was perfect with it. A good example of restrained power. Each sip seemed better and better.
