This is a Chardonnay of nuance and balance. From the first ephemeral whiff of honeysuckle and citrus, through to the palate-coating, buttery, ripe apple and stone fruits, this is a pleasing mouthful of wine. A few extra months in bottle has really brought it together. It carries the weight and gravitas of North Coast Chardonnays that cost much more. Delicious as an aperitif, it also will pair well with chicken, shellfish or seafood done in a citrus sauce or with a stone fruit salsa.
