2008 Andrew Murray ‘Espérance’ Red Blend, Central Coast

Young purple/plum hue. This is a classic GSM (Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre) blend. The nose offers up perfumed floral components, syrupy blackberry and currant fruit, and a high spice note. In the mouth, concentrated blue and black fruits are deftly framed by cinnamon spice. It continues to gain in the glass over several hours, focusing into creamy boysenberry. Yummy!
