Rich garnet in color, showing some separation at the edge. This is an “old school” red, but with charm. It sports aromas and flavors of dark flowers, leather, spice, a hint of citrus, and dusty red berry, cherry and plum fruit. The 14.2% alcohol takes a back seat to the forward fruit, making this a nicely balanced wine that’s perfect for the dinner table. A well-priced crowd-pleaser.
