2009 Paul Dolan Chardonnay, Mendocino

Golden straw color. The nose is crisp and fresh, offering up bright green apple and sharp citrus. It surprises on the palate, showing ripe spiced apple, vanilla and butter, all with a creamy texture. The creamy finish lingers for 25 seconds. An excellent example of a lightly oaked, New World Chardonnay. An excellent food wine that would complement a chicken Alfredo or sautéed white fish.
