2005 Jekel Cabernet Sauvignon, Arroyo Seco
An opaque purple-plum color. The heady, perfumed nose is full of candied cherry, black currant, fleshy plum, menthol and a touch of earth. Juicy in the mouth, and full of black fruits. Some mild chocolate and earth tannins peek through at the finish. Excellent value.
